Complete guide to 36 Google AI tools in 2026. From Gemini to NotebookLM, Veo to Google AI Studio - with tutorials, tips, and practical use cases for each. See the full map.
Thanks, that makes me happy to hear. I'll keep this one updated throughout the year as they keep shipping so it stays useful whenever you come back to it.
This is an incredibly comprehensive guide to Google's AI tools in 2026! I was particularly impressed by the breakdown of how Google has shifted from a single chatbot focus to embedding AI across its entire ecosystem. It's fascinating to see how much is already integrated into tools we use daily.
I work in an educational institution and what stands out to me is the enormous effort Google is putting into creating AI-assisted learning experiences. Very interesting development!
Google has always gone very deep into education, probably more than any other big player. They’ve built an enormous amount of products and features around it over the years. And it’s both useful and strategically smart. If schools and universities adopt your ecosystem early, students grow up using Google products by default, Gmail, Docs, Gemini etc. and those habits stick long after education too.
Google's AI ecosystem is underrated for business use. Gemini in Google Workspace is especially powerful for firms already on Google — summarize email threads, draft responses, analyze spreadsheets. The key is custom instructions. Tell it your role, your clients, your tone. That one setup step makes every output 5x better.
The other day I was looking for one in Google stack that would be the best alternative to Claude Code for agentic workflows. Which would you recommend?
Damn I never knew Google had SO SO many helpful AI tools. I am most excited about dipping my toes into NotebookLLM and the AI integrations with Maps. Thanks for putting this together :)
36 tools sounds overwhelming until you realize most people use the same 3 forever. The real opportunity is in the specialized ones nobody's exploring yet. That's where you can build unique workflows competitors haven't discovered.
I've been using AI Studio to build mini apps for months and I still didn't know half of these existed 🤣 I want to try Opan :) and maybe Stitch (given how much I hate Figma...).
Amazing info. I agree it’s hard to keep up with everything and I appreciate your summary. Tagging to save for later and read in more detail.

Thank you for this amazing overview!
Glad it’s useful!

Customization and personalization are always the best place to start.
If you were to recommend a starting place for someone, which of these tools would you start with?
I’d always pick based on your needs and what would be the lowest hanging fruit where you could start gaining something from AI in your work.
Super helpful!

Hey Lukasz, I'd say
1. Antigravity https://antigravity.google/ or
2. Gemini CLI if you want to stick to the terminal https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/technology/developers-tools/introducing-gemini-cli-open-source-ai-agent/
This was a fascinating article. Thank you for sharing. Definitely saving this for future reference.

Haha right? Google doesn’t really promote most of its experiments, like the gems you find in Google Labs, where they publish sooo many of them.
You’ll love NotebookLM. It’s really good!
Awesome i have heard so many good things i am excited to try it!

This is a really nice list in my opinion. There's so much development and news in this space that sometimes it's hard to keep up with. Great stuff.
Thank you, appreciate that!
People underestimate how much leverage sits inside tools they already use every day.
there’s so much hidden inside them haha
This is awesome, Daria! So many useful apps under one umbrella!
Thanks, Raghav!
Solid resource, thank you! :)

Thank youu! I know - there's just too many of them, haha.
Opal is pretty cool, I think being able to use it in Gems is pretty great, except for the fact I don't have access to that :))
Stitch was really impressive though. And you can take the design it generates and add it into Google AI Studio - which is really nice.
Thanks for how comprehensive this is Daria. So good I've Restacked 🤓
Haha, thank you, Chris, appreciate it!
Wow, fantastic info. I’ll be trying out NotebookLM!
NotebookLM is a gem. You're going to love it!
