How I Create Branded Lead Magnets With Claude in 5 Minutes (Using One Prompt)
I built a prompt and a Claude skill that turns your content or raw ideas into branded PDF lead magnets. Here's how it works, with 3 real examples I made in minutes.
Lead magnets are one of the most reliable ways to attract leads.
It doesn’t matter if you’re placing one on your website to capture visitors with a free guide on a topic they care about (HubSpot does this constantly, they have an entire library of them). Or if you’re using one to grow on social media, where the most engaged posts on LinkedIn and X are almost always the ones giving away a lead magnet.
Comment, DM, download, follow up, add to funnel. That loop is everywhere. And that’s because it works.
So if the biggest companies and most successful creators are already doing this, and you’re a creator or a business trying to grow… why aren’t we doing it too?
It’s been on my mind for a while. But before, it would’ve taken too long. Writing the content, designing it, formatting it into a polished PDF, then promoting it, that’s a full day’s work for a single asset. And it has to be good, because if what someone downloads is mediocre, they forget you existed.
I don’t have a design team or a content team pulling these out of my articles every week, like the giants do. But I know what a good lead magnet could do for my growth and my business.
And everything I’ve been building so far, the content, my Claude skills, my systems, has led me to this point.
Because I now have 87 articles written. A voice DNA skill that makes Claude write exactly like me. An audience profile skill so Claude knows who I’m writing for and who I want to attract. A business profile skill with everything about my goals and what I do. And a brand skill that turns anything I create with Claude into a branded document that follows the AI Blew My Mind design identity.
That’s what makes this possible now. So I went and built it.
I’ll walk you through how it works, what it does, and show you examples from what I’ve already created with it.
The Lead Magnet & eBook Creator prompt is already inside the AI Blew My Mind MCP, available for premium subscribers.
Takes two minutes to set up, and by the end of this you'll have everything you need to start creating your own lead magnets.
PS. It works whether you already have these skills set up or you’re starting from scratch. The prompt asks the right questions to collect what it needs either way.

How to access the lead magnet prompt in Claude
I created this interactive Lead Magnet Creator prompt inside the AI Blew My Mind MCP.
It walks you through the full process from idea to finished asset, and along the way it collects everything it needs to make the result personal to you, your business, your audience, and your goals.
To use it, you’ll need the AIBMM MCP connected to your Claude.
Open the Claude desktop app, go to Customize from the left side panel, click Connectors, then the + icon, select Add custom connector, name it AI Blew My Mind, and paste this URL: https://mcp.aiblewmymind.com.
That’s it, takes about two minutes. I have a full guide on how the MCP works here, if you want to go deeper.
How the Claude lead magnet prompt works (from idea to branded PDF)
The prompt handles everything regardless of where you’re starting from:
Have Claude skills set up? It pulls from your voice DNA, audience profile, business profile, and brand skill automatically. The output sounds like you, is designed for your audience, and comes out on-brand. And if you don’t have these skills yet but want to build them, they’re all inside the MCP too. Just ask Claude to walk you through any of them.
Don’t have any skills yet? It asks the right questions to collect what it needs. You still get a personalized result.
Have existing content to work from? Upload articles, transcripts, notes, client case studies, whatever you’ve got. Claude repurposes it.
Starting from nothing? Claude brainstorms your topic and writes the content together with you from scratch.
Have a brand identity? It uses it. Don’t have one? You can build a brand skill in 20 minutes with the Brand Design Skill Builder MCP prompt, or just pick from preset style options that Claude shows you right in the chat.
By the end, you have a finished lead magnet: written, designed, formatted, and ready to export as a PDF. Claude also writes a promotional post for you (LinkedIn, X, or Substack Notes) with a hook and CTA included.
Post it on social media, embed it on your website as a download, or send it to your subscribers.
You can reuse the prompt from the AI Blew My Mind MCP anytime you need a new lead magnet or turn the whole setup into a Claude skill if you plan to create these regularly.
3 lead magnets I created with Claude (with real examples)
For the best results, I’d recommend building your Claude skills first using the MCP. That’s what I have set up, and it’s what makes the output feel like it was made by you.
But it works from zero too, as you’ll see below. All three of these went from idea to finished lead magnet in about 5-10 minutes.
Example 1: From article to branded checklist + LinkedIn promo post
I gave Claude my article on the MCP and asked it to create a lead magnet I could give away on LinkedIn. We went back and forth to decide on the details, I picked a checklist format (the prompt offers a bunch of types to choose from), and Claude created it using my brand skill so it came out fully on-brand. It also wrote a LinkedIn post to promote it, with a proven hook and format for lead magnet giveaways.
You could do the same with transcripts, internal docs, presentations, client work. Any material relevant to the topic. Access the lead magnet here.
Example 2: Starting from scratch (no topic, no content)
For this one, I wanted to show you what happens when you start with nothing. No topic idea, no materials to upload. I deliberately didn’t give Claude any source material, even though I had some. I asked it to create an ebook on building AI agents that can do work for you, for promoting on X.
Claude brainstormed the topic with me, did its own research, wrote the content, designed it, and created the promotional post. Same flow as before, just without my materials. Access the lead magnet here. Pretty good for something built from scratch.
Example 3: No brand skill — using Claude's preset styling
This time I told Claude not to load my brand skill, and created a website resource based on my article about migrating from ChatGPT to Claude. Without a brand skill, Claude showed me five preset style options to choose from. I picked one, and it built the lead magnet from there.
If you’ve ever tried creating PDFs with Claude, you’ve probably seen the text overlap and break. I figured out how to fix that when I built my brand skill, and added those rules into this prompt too, so your PDFs come out clean. Access the lead magnet here.
(If you want to add a lead magnet like this to your website, I wrote a full guide on building a live website with Claude Code that includes a lead magnet section.)
Lead magnet ideas by industry (with examples you can steal)
The most important thing about a lead magnet isn’t the format. It’s the relevance.
Think about what you do, what your audience cares about most, and package that into something worth downloading.
Here are a few examples to get your wheels turning:
Real estate: A guide on how to evaluate a property before buying. What to look for, how to negotiate, which areas are trending and why.
Pet care business: A checklist of warning signs to watch before taking your pet to the vet, or a seasonal guide on nutrition and care.
Legal services: A guide on everything you need from a legal perspective when starting a business. Entity types, contracts you need from day one, common mistakes that cost founders money later.
Consulting: Think about what clients always ask you in the first call. The key pain points, the decision triggers, the “I wish I’d known this sooner” insights.
Any service business: A case study on how a client achieved a specific goal, with the exact tactics and techniques you helped them implement. People want to see proof that what you do works.
Coaching or education: A framework or worksheet that helps people self-assess where they are. Something they fill out and immediately see where the gaps are.
Fitness or wellness: A 7-day starter plan, a meal prep checklist, or a “what to do in your first month” guide for a specific goal. Something actionable enough that they see results, and specific enough that they want more.
Accounting or finance: A tax preparation checklist for freelancers, or a “what to track from day one” guide for new business owners. The kind of thing people Google at 11 PM in a panic and would love to have as a clean, organized PDF.
SaaS: A comparison guide, a setup checklist, or a “how to evaluate tools in [your category]” resource. Positions your product without hard-selling it.
Marketing or creative agencies: A swipe file of high-performing examples in your niche, with a short breakdown of why each one works.
The pattern is the same: take what you already know, package the part that helps people make a decision or take action, and make it easy to consume.
And chances are, you already have more material than you think. If you’ve been running a business or creating content for a while, you probably have blog posts, internal documents, client presentations, transcripts, maybe even a logo and some visual branding.
All of that is material you can feed to Claude and turn into a lead magnet.
And the same instinct — packaging what you already know — is exactly how you turn your expertise into a Claude skill you can sell.
40+ Claude prompts, workflows, and skill builders inside the AI Blew My Mind MCP
The lead magnet prompt is one of about 40 prompts and workflows inside the MCP right now.
Since I created them, I haven’t stopped using them, and I’ve received a lot of positive feedback from you as well. I think they’re among the best resources I’ve put out.
The MCP also gives your Claude access to Nano Banana for generating images and infographics right inside your conversation.
And something new: you can now save your own prompts directly into the MCP. No more saving prompts in Google Docs and scattered notes. Tell Claude to save a prompt, and it’s there, right where you work.
It works in Claude Chat, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and now in ChatGPT too. Full setup guide here.
Now it’s your turn
If you’ve been sitting on expertise, content, or ideas that could become a lead magnet, you have everything you need to make it happen. The prompt is inside the MCP.
Start with one. See how it turns out. Then make another.
And if you create something you’re proud of, send it my way. I’d love to see what you build.
If this was useful to you, the best thing you can do is share it. It's free, it takes two seconds, and it helps me keep making these.

Hi! I got Premium today. You are the first (and only) AI writer/producer who got me. I like many others, but they don't bring anything new to my setup. As a Claude addict since the very first Beta, I consider myself advanced but also experienced enough, to not fall for any hype.
Your guides are down to earth and genuinely have lots of value. Not the usual hype fluff that leads nowhere but into another rabbit hole which leads to another rabbit hole ad infinitum.
AI Inception 😅 I just connected your MCP and started with your Voice DNA skill.
I didn't think that I needed it because I already have a 13 pages "Atmos Voice and Tone" document (with which I have written 3 books) but I was wrong! Your Voice DNA has brought things to the daylight, that I wasn't aware of yet and it's beautiful.
So that alone is already worth the subscription and I know there is loads more to discover!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🙏🫶
This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing 🤓🌤️
