Let’s consider a scenario in my organization: we have Claude Enterprise, but access is restricted to chat-only (no CoWork or code features). When creating a project, I can upload files directly—but we already maintain a large document repository in SharePoint. Instead of duplicating files, can a Claude project connect directly to a SharePoint library? If yes, how can this be set up?
Hi Nitay, there’s a Microsoft 365 connector in Claude that lets you access your company’s SharePoint. You just need to go to Customize → Connectors → + → Browse connectors, then select the Microsoft 365 connector and connect it by logging in.
like Ras Mic said, majority of people shouldn't have long CLAUDE.md (global, cowork) instructions. precisely because they are added to context every time you try to do something. while skills can have the same context and only be activated when needed
you need to avoid context bloat, it makes models stupid, definitely not smarter
Thank you, Chris! I need to update my “all things Claude” resource again with something they just released yesterday… again 😆 I’ll probably have to dedicate time every week to keep it updated, that’s how fast Anthropic moves
Very easy explanation, Daria! The proof of the pudding is in the eating - you have mentioned earlier that you need to make your hands 'dirty' to learn. There is no other way!
Profile preferences and styles should still apply in incognito chats since those are account-level settings. Same for skills - Claude uses them when they're relevant - just tested this now. But since they don't use memory and you can't open an incognito chat inside a project, project instructions don't apply.

100% and the more you use Claude and try it out on your work, the more you understand what goes where and how to make the most of it
Very small question: do incognito chats make use of any of the layers you've got in place?

Picking where things live matters more than people think.
yep, put the right instruction in the right place and Claude handles the rest
Clear decision framework for choosing Claude tools based on use case, reducing complexity through practical prompt-based guidance
that was the goal :) less complexity, more clarity on what to use and when
Once you understand when to use Projects vs Skills vs Cowork, Claude stops feeling like tools and starts feeling like a system.
Yup, once you know which layer to build on, everything you set up compounds
Great overview! With all the stuff they ship it's hard to keep track - glad I'm not one of their PMs 😅
If writing about it is this hard, I can't imagine shipping it :))
